Our Cruisin Adventure Begins

Well this is my first venture into the world of blogging so please be patient with me as I figure it out.

Since we didn't buy the expensive and slow internet while on the cruise, I waited until we were home to transfer my pictures from the camera and to enter the blog.  I have discovered that while I always had my camera with me, I didn't always take pictures so will defi itely need to work on that step during future adventures.

We started our trip by driving up to Portland so we could fly to Seattle and then Seattle to Miami.  Here is a pic of Dan waiting patiently for us to board our flight to Seattle.

We arrived in Miami at 7:30 the next morning and had to while away almost 5 hrs before we could head to the port to board the ship.   Dan and I both decided that the next time we fly across country we will leave early and spend the night--sleeping on a plane and then sitting around an airport for hours makes for two very tired travellers and this was the beginning.

It was finally time to get a taxi and head for the Port of Miami and our ship, the Carnival Valor.  We were really starting our 7 night cruise with stops in Grand Cayman, Roatan (Honduras), Belize and Cozumel.
