First Night and Day at Sea

Once we were onboard ship, we were all directed to deck 9 for lunch as could not go to cabins until after 1:30.  The sun was shining and everyone was starting to have a good time.

Once we were able to do it, we headed for our cabin for a much needed nap.  We wanted to be ready to enjoy the departure from Miami as well as our first dinner onboard.    Our unplanned wake up call came at 3:30 pm with loud anniuncement that every one needed to go to their muster station for training on use of life jackets as well as how and where to go to leave ship in an emergency.

Then we were back to the cabin, hoping our luggage had been delivered so we could shower and then start to explore the ship.

We had a wonderful dinner and then an early night so we could catch up on our sleep.  The next day was a full day at sea as we cruised to our first port of call in Grand Cayman.
